The Newseum in Washington, D.C. has given teachers of any subject that requires interaction with media a great gift–NewseumED. This site is FULL. From standards-aligned lesson plans to videos and many other resources, NewseumEd aims to help teachers connect students with the resources and skills they need to find news media and determine news media's quality. Of course, in writing for History, English, Religion, Math, Science, Foreign Language, etc., news media is difficult to incorporate because it is not always clear how to communicate to students how WE as teachers determine the good news from the fake news. Well, NewseumEd, a website resource and an iOS/Android app is here to help you. Three ideas for incorporating Newseum Ed into your classes:
